Gradings are designed to assess your ability and test your character, but are not compulsory. Notification to Grade is not an indication that the Student is ready for Grading, nor that a pass is imminent or to be expected. It is simply to advise that the minimum required period and targeted training sessions, have been, or will be acquired by the Grading date. The Assessment Course/Class will be the "Yardstick" for the Students knowledge and ability.
Grading is strictly at the Chief Instructors discretion. Students looking for shortcuts to belts are advised they're at the wrong Club. If you're looking for quality tuition, leading to a quality Black Belt, you're at the right Club and you'll know if you're ready or not!
At a Grading held recently at Jishín Karate Club Headquarters, the following Students achieved promotion to their next Grade.
Good Grading last weekend, results & pics posted shortly.
